We have been hearing that “Window Dressing” Period is always bullish. By memory it seems to be the case. But taking a look at the previous Window Dressing Periods, it seems that 3 out of 4 times, it is bullish.

My Simplified Definition
Portfolio Manager makes new dresses for  their portfolio of stocks before presenting to the clients.

The Formal Definition (from investopedia)
A strategy used by mutual fund and portfolio managers near the year or quarter end to improve the appearance of the portfolio/fund performance before presenting it to clients or shareholders. To window dress, the fund manager will sell stocks with large losses and purchase high flying stocks near the end of the quarter. These securities are then reported as part of the fund’s holdings.

September is the period in 2014 that is bearish
What will it be for SEP 2015?
