In Singapore’s unpredictable weather, we do not know when it will rain or shine. Most of our mums will insist that we bring an umbrella when we are going out, unfortunately, most of us do not.

What we can use with an umbrella?
An umbrella is just like an insurance. We need it during rainy days. Be it a drizzle (a small accident claim), shower (medical insurance claim), thunder storm (long term inability to work due to death, critical illness or disability). In some situations, we can still run across the road in the rain and nothing happens. In others, people get drenched & fall sick, late for their appts etc. Some people will buy an umbrella during rainy days & to their surprise, they are SOLD OUT. This is like buying insurance when you are diagnosed with a certain disease or suffered from an injury. Insurance will either exclude you in some of the coverages, penalize you to pay more premiums or worst of all, REJECT you. Thus, do u want to bring an umbrella or leave your fate to the weather?
