I’m Dave. I’m in the 40s living in Singapore – a busy and prosperous business hub in Asia. A constant flow of income from my investment allows me to have consistent amount of time for my family and friends. I have a wonderful family, an awesome wife and 2 daughters. And also my good friends whom I have been getting great support from.
A bit more about me
I have graduated with a technology degree with a strong passion for knowledge in life philosophy, self improvement and wealth accumulation. In recent years, I have grown to realize the importance of having “enough” to retire and to have more time for my family and friends.
I have a lot of passion in learning other things to improve myself and my surroundings for my family and friends. I would like to prepare myself for the tough society that everyone may be facing in the future. I would like to be a better person, earn more money and spend more time with my family and friends.
The sharings in SmartPassiveCashFlow Blog
Life is just a journey where we try to explore our inner self by devising solutions to every problem we confront. Every journey starts with small steps, like how the process of understanding and defining an individual always comes along with solving everyday challenges.
The process and attitude of solving the daily challenges will lead us to the way we solve our bigger problems in the longer term.
I want to do my sharings in this blog in terms of my strategies, life experiences, and my wealth accumulation/cashflow for you. This is not a “boastful or teaching” blog. This blog is where I put down my experiences in which some may be useful to you – especially if you are finding the society getting tougher each day. The comments from the readers will also assist to fill the gaps that I may have missed out.
As I am still moving in this life journey, the experiences that I share may not be the best that you find in the internet. However I will place the importance of constant learning and upgrading in this blog. This blog is not of a “Get Rich” type of schemes. We need to work hard and not just that, we will have to Work Hard in the Right Direction Without Giving Up to see improvements in ourselves. In return, our wealth will improve and we will also have more time with our family.
I like this quote from the Sylvestor Stallone in the Movie “Rocky Balboa”:
“ Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.
But it ain’t about how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. It’s How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done.
Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not point fingers and blame other people. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!”
I will share from my real life experiences and please feel free to use any of them to make your life better.
Always believe in yourself that you are in control of your life and you can do it.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
